Our global team with experts across the US and India seamlessly integrates as your dedicated serialization arm. In addition to serialization, we support healthcare clients in implementing on-premise and cloud infrastructure, along with other IT applications such as QMS, WMS, ERP, and EDI.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Serialization Technical Consultant at VariTec Consulting. The consultant will be responsible for providing B2B connections, API integrations, technical support, troubleshooting, consulting on serialization solutions. Remote work should be acceptable.

Responsibilities

Configure customer environments based on client requirements. Write technical design documents where required. Review, create, edit and test customer interfaces in various formats (CSV, XML, IDOC, EDI etc.). Support user testing activities such as troubleshooting, reading error messages and ensuring the expected results are delivered. Provide deliverable status updates to the Project Manager in a timely, consistent and professional manner.

Qualifications

• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• BS/BA technical degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of technical experience in external customer-facing roles, preferably within technology organizations.
  
• Able to read, parse and manipulate various technical formats such as XML, EPCIS and CSV.
  
• A working knowledge of EPCIS and B2B technologies such as AS2 and SFTP.
  
• A working knowledge of Web Services (WSDL, SOAP, etc.). 
• Ability to work during US business hours.
  
• Experience in Healthcare IT or serialization is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and able to work both independently and in a team.
